How do I register my child for art or sewing classes?

Registration is handled online through our Sawyer platform, with links on each class or camp page. Choose your preferred session at either the Woodbine Art Studio or Madison Sewing Center and follow the prompts to complete your booking. For help, text us or email the studio.

What age groups are accepted for different programs?

Art classes are open to children ages 4 and up, with tracks for ages 6 to 12 and teen sessions. Sewing classes generally start at age 7, with advanced teen and adult options. Please check class listings for specific age requirements.

Can I register for a single class or do I need to commit to a full session?

We offer both flexible drop-in options and multi-week semester sessions. Single-class drop-ins are available for most art and sewing programs, making it easy for busy families or those new to our studio to try a class first.

What is your cancellation and refund policy for registrations?

Classes are refundable, less credit card processing fees, up until two weeks prior to class start date. If you should need to cancel after this time, we would be happy to reschedule you into another class of the same value on different date

Are classes divided by skill level or experience?

Yes. We offer beginner and advanced sewing classes, as well as multilevel art classes designed for students of varying experience levels. New students are welcome in beginner sessions, while advanced sewing classes are intended for older kids, teens, or adults with prior experience. For art classes, placement is based on each student’s skill level and experience. Contact us if you need help choosing the right class.

Where are your classes held and is parking available?

Art classes are at our Woodbine Avenue Art Studio, and sewing sessions are at the Madison Street Sewing Center. Both locations serve Oak Park and nearby suburbs like River Forest and Forest Park. Street parking is available near both studios.

How will I know if my registration is confirmed or if there are changes to the schedule?

You will receive a confirmation email right after registration. If there are any changes to your class schedule, we will contact you by email or text. For urgent questions, please reach out to us directly.
